 Join us for a delightful evening of music-making, with much loved arias, duets and popular musical hits.

 

Internationally renowned Louise Innes made her Covent Garden debut singing Mercedes (Carmen). Since then her operatic roles have taken her all over the world from the Royal Opera House in London to the La Scala, Milan to Paris, Vancouver, Istanbul and Japan. On the concert platform, Louise has performed Handel’s Messiah in Barcelona, Beethoven’s Mass in C at the St Magnus Festival in Orkney and Beethoven’s 9th Symphony at the Aldeburgh Festival. Louise also

regularly appears in Cabaret venues across the country with Charlie Bicknell and has developed a passion for singing in different styles, particularly jazz and musical theatre. James Cleverton, described in the Guardian as “outstanding, handsome sounding and wonderfully subtle”, studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Zürich Opera’s International Opera Studio. James’ repertoire ranges from Handel and Wagner to contemporary opera. He has appeared in principal roles at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, English National Opera, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Scottish Opera, Welsh National Opera, Opera North, Opernhaus Zürich, Salzburg Festival, Theater St Gallen, Opéra de Rennes and the major UK opera festivals.  James also regularly appears as guest soloist in the Classical Spectacular gala concerts with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Festival Hall, the Bridgewater Hall, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall.  Listen: sGZ67W79Mvo

 

Jonathan Delbridge was brought up in south-east Cornwall. He championed local music-making throughout Cornwall before relocating to Crewkerne where he now runs the South Somerset Music Centre. With over 20 years’ experience as a professional pianist, he is well known for his dynamic and diverse concert programmes, playing music ranging from classical to jazz and musical theatre, performed on both piano and organ. Renowned for his engaging performances, Jonathan enjoys providing insightful commentary to enrich the audience’s experience. He is a highly sought-after accompanist, regularly collaborating with leading soloists, including Crispian Steele-Perkins (trumpet) and Arwel Huw Morgan (bass-baritone). His venue appearances range from the iconic Royal Albert Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall to intimate settings, such as his village church in Lopen, Somerset. Listen: fiWa3arRquo
