27 November: Big Jazz Choir Concert 4pm

Calstock’s Big Jazz Choir have an exciting concert coming up at Calstock Arts.

The concert, starting at 4pm, features ‘BEE’ composed by Sheila MacBeth, exploring a year in the life of the honeybee through song. The choir performed the work several years ago and are thrilled to be reviving this beautiful score. The first half of the concert programme includes a variety of songs relating to birds, bees and the air around us – ‘Bird on the Wire’, ‘On A Clear Day’, ‘Lovely Day’, ‘Straighten Up and Fly Right’ among others.
