26 October: Tamar River Festival

The Tamar Valley River Festival on Saturday 26 October, Calstock, is a FREE family-friendly event celebrating the River Tamar through art, crafts, music, food and drink.

Calstock Arts will be hosting a series of activities throughout the day including –

  • Yoga at 10am
  • Wren Music interactive session at 11am
  • Allis the Shad hands-on family drama performance at 12pm
  • A Kernow King drama performance at 2pm and
  • A Connecting Shores – The Listening at 3pm.

There will be a host of interactive activities and workshops on offer across Calstock, including folk music, gig boat racing, multi-media exhibitions, singing workshops, interactive family-friendly drama performances, art activities as well as a River of Hope exhibition and parade by local school children.

The festival will come to a close at 5pm, followed by an evening of music provided by local venues.
