“OUR MUSIC PLANET”
New for 2026: Join us on a journey around “Our Music Planet”. A festival of four world music concerts, celebrating the sounds, melodies and rhythms of the music, and showcasing a veritable smorgasbord of classical/traditional instruments, from different regions of the world. This is music that everyone can enjoy!
We begin in the Indian sub-continent with Singh Strings. An intricate, melodic and soulful classical Raagdhari music originating from Northern India, showcasing Sitar, Sanoor and Tabla.
Further performances in the festival of concerts.
Next stop, Latin America for the upbeat grooves and rhythms of Cuban folk and Latin dance (Samba, Boleros, Son etc.) music, featuring Guitar, Trumpet and Percussion.
Senegal, West Africa is our third destination, to savour traditional Mandinkan melodies, and a fusion of Senegalese rhythms and irresistible Afro-blues, showcasing the 21-string Kora.
Journey’s end is the Middle East and Turkey with rich, distinctive and heartfelt Turkish, Kurdish and Middle Eastern music and songs, featuring Oud and Baglama.
