Making a welcome return to Calstock Arts, this autumn, are the Mojito trio.
Featuring Liam Harvey (bass) and Dusty Miller (drums) – both former members of the Royal Marine Band Service, and current members of the Dave Hankin Big Band, along with Calstock’s own Andy Lawton (ex Rhythm Machine) on piano, they bring their own distinctive arrangements of of songs ranging from J S Bach, through the Great American Songbook to more contemporary music from the likes of Lionel Richie, Eva Cassidy, Carol King, Carly Simon & Billy Joel, to name just a few. So there’s something for everyone!
They will be joined again by singer, Emma Watson, one of Devon’s top female vocalists, song writer and choir director of Exeter’s Soul of the City gospel choir, who reached the final of BBC Gospel Choir of the Year in 2023.
Plus for the first time at Calstock Arts, multi-instrumentalist, Marius Rudnick on saxophones, flute & clarinet. Marius has played in The John Miller Orchestra until John’s death & is currently a member of The Glenn Miller Memorial Orchestra, The Dave Hankin Big Band, AJ’s Big Band, The Carlton Big Band, Take 4, Just Misbehavin’ and The Jeff Short Swing Band.
