SUMMARY:25 April: SOLD OUT Screening- SIX INCHES OF SOIL with Marina O'Connell
DESCRIPTION:Six Inches of Soil is a British independent full feature documentary shining a spotlight on soil health and regenerative farming. It tells the inspiring story of young British farmers standing up against the industrial food system and transforming the way they produce food – to heal the soil\, our health and provide for local communities. The aims of the film are to sound the alarm on a broken system\, but to also give hope that there is a way to fix it; to inspire farmers to adopt agroecological and regenerative farming practices; and to encourage consumers\, food corporations and policymakers to support their efforts.  \nMarina O’Connell will be leading in the question and answer session after the film and will also talk about her farm\, regenerative farming and working to increase the number of farms adopting more soil friendly farming practices. \nShe is the author of “Designing regenerative Food Systems\, and why we need them now” – A unique toolkit of resilient food production systems\, including biodynamic\, organic\, agroforestry\,  regenerative\, agroecological and permaculture methods\, with illustrated case studies\, references and resources. \nHalf the food we eat in the UK is produced by about 180\,000 farmers\, who manage 70% of our land.  Current “industrial” mainstream farming practices significantly contribute to soil degradation\, biodiversity loss and climate change. Regenerative farming practices\, (within an agroecological system) promote healthier soils\, provide healthier\, affordable food\, restore biodiversity and sequester carbon.  \nSix Inches of Soil is a story of three new farmers on the first year of their regenerative journey to heal the soil and help transform the food system – Anna Jackson\, a Lincolnshire 11th generation arable and sheep farmer; Adrienne Gordon\, a Cambridgeshire small-scale vegetable farmer; and Ben Thomas\, who rears pasture fed beef cattle in Cornwall.  \nAs the trio of young farmers strive to adopt regenerative practices and create viable businesses\, they meet seasoned mentors – John Pawsey in Suffolk\, Nic Renison in Cumbria and Marina O’Connell in Devon – who help them on their journey.  \nThey are joined by other experts – Henry Dimbleby\, Ian Wilkinson\, Mike Berners-Lee\, Vicki Hird\, Dee Woods\, Tim Lang\, Hannah Jones\, Satish Kumar\, Nicole Masters\, Tom Pearson – providing wisdom and solutions from a growing movement of people who are dedicated to changing the trajectory for food\, farming and the planet. \nThe 96 minute film\, with its original music score and beautiful animation\, was completed at the end of 2023\, and was launched at the Oxford Real Farming Conference on 4th January 2024. It was also shown at COP 28 in December 2023 through EIT Food Systems. \n“WOW @sixinchesofsoil what an amazing 🤩 movie! I never thought I could watch a movie about soil and get emotional” Michael Aggrey at COP28 \nhttps://www.theguardian.com/environment/2022/jun/03/the-regenerative-farm-working-to-improve-soil-without-fertilisers? \n

SUMMARY:20 April: Sold Out Martin Simpson
DESCRIPTION:“Martin Simpson has transcended borders and oceans to quietly become a superb storyteller and musician of great depth and unquestionable taste.” Stephen Fearing \nThe remarkable intimate solo performances Martin gives go from strength to strength – every gig is a masterclass. He travels the length and breadth of the UK and beyond\, giving rapt audiences passion\, sorrow\, love\, beauty\, tragedy and majesty through his playing. \n“What’s it like being the best guitar player in the world…?” Martin’s modesty and grace prevented him from answering this BBC Radio 4 interviewer’s question recently\, but the facts speak for themselves. \n40 years after he recorded his first album\, Golden Vanity\, in 1976\, Martin is known as a guitarist of formidable talent. Equally at home playing English traditional folk\, American folk and blues and his own compositions\, he is consistently named as one of the very finest fingerstyle guitar players in the world. \nHe is listed in Gibson Guitars’ Top 30 Acoustic Guitarists of all time\, and Acoustic Guitar readers voted him number 12 guitarist in the world in 2005. \nUniversally acclaimed as one of the finest ever acoustic and slide guitar players\, and a fine banjo-picker to boot\, his solo shows bear witness to an artist at the very top of his game. Whether interpreting material from tradition or singing his own potent self-penned songs\, Simpson is a remarkable storyteller: captivating and profoundly moving. His own songwriting produced the poignant ‘Never Any Good’\, from Prodigal Son\, 2007’s Folk Album of the Year. \nMartin continues to collaborate with a dazzling array of people from across the musical spectrum: Jackson Browne\, Martin Taylor\, June Tabor\, Richard Hawley\, Bonnie Raitt\, Danny Thompson\, David Hidalgo\, Danú\, Richard Thompson and Dom Flemons are among the great musicians he has worked with. \nIn recent years\, he has been a lynchpin in the award-winning Full English\, The Elizabethan Sessions and\, in 2015\, recorded Murmurs\, an exciting new album with Andy Cutting and Nancy Kerr. Martin’s latest solo album entitled Trails and Tribulations was released in September 2017 on Topic Records. Album guests include Andy Cutting\, Kathryn Tickell\, Nancy Kerr and John Smith. In September 2019 Topic Records will release Martin’s new album ‘Rooted’\, a mixture of Simpson originals and traditional songs and tunes with guest appearances from friends old and new. As ever Martin is pushing in new directions\, expect exquisite ensemble playing and solo magic. \nHe has had the most nominations of any performer in the 18 years of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards\, an astonishing 32 times\, 13 of those as Musician of the Year\, winning that particular accolade twice. \nA virtuoso player without question\, but above all Martin Simpson conveys his diverse treasure trove of material from the heart\, performing with rare subtlety\, intensity and honesty. A true master of his art. \nPraise for ‘Rooted’:  \n“Every track cuts like glass. The folk singer and guitarist continues his winning streak.” Sunday Times \n“Martin Simpson is a superb teller of a song. You just have to listen to the opener on this double album\, his own composition\, Trouble Brought Me Here\, to appreciate how his articulation brings the substance of a song alive\, borne on his flowing guitar or banjo accompaniment.” The Scotsman   \n“Martin is in a class of his own. He is such an expressive player; he is ingenious in his use of the guitar. You can listen to one of his songs and three or four minutes in\, he has only used the top four strings and not even played a bass note yet\, and when he does\, it feels like an orchestra coming in. His clarity of playing is just amazing.” Jackson Browne \n“One of the virtuoso instrumentalists of the English music scene” ‘Sounds better than ever’ **** 4 Stars The Guardian \n“Simpson has become a fine interpreter of traditional and other songs\, as well as a notable writer of his own.” The Times \n‘Simpson’s latest is a potent blend of the highest calibre…Simpson has never sung or played better’ Acoustic Magazine \n‘One of our finest traditional musicians\, Simpson’s latest album offers a roving overview of his talents’ **** 4 Stars Uncut \n‘An excellent collection of material drawn from both sides of the Atlantic handled with loving care by Simpson and aided by some of the biggest names in folk’ **** 4 Stars Maverick \n  \nListen to Martin here: https://youtu.be/x_PbXKWJPg4?si=N3iqCYR8c5Do0AQD \n

SUMMARY:April 14: One Writers’ Group: Three Routes to Publication @ 6pm
DESCRIPTION:WEST COUNTRY AUTHORS TO SHARE TRICKS OF THE TRADE \nThree Devon authors\, who are all members of the same writing group\, will be sharing their experience of the rocky road to publication\, in an attempt to help other writers get published. \nCalstock Arts are thrilled to welcome\, Yaara Lahav Gregory\, Anna Lunk\, and Sophie Pierce\, in conversation  at the Old Chapel  with their One Writers’ Group: Three Routes to Publication. \nAnna Lunk\, a one time resident of Calstock and member of Girl’s Own Theatre lives in Staverton\, while Sophie Pierce and Yaara Lahav Gregory live in Ashburton. They are all members of Ashburton Writers’ Group. \nAll three have had books published in the last year\, but know what a lonely business writing is\, and how difficult it is to get published. The trio will share their experiences\, reading extracts from their books\, talking about their journeys to publication and discussing the support and encouragement they received from their writing group. \nTheir books are very different: Yaara’s Night Swimming in the Jordan (Cinnamon Press) is a novel set in 1970s Israel\, but which also incorporates life in Devon. Anna’s novel Amie’s Rest  (Buzzard Press) is the story of a young girl navigating life on her own after being in care\, while Sophie’s memoir The Green Hill: Letters to a Son (Unbound)  is about the sudden death of her son Felix\, and the role of the Devon landscape in her journey of grief. \nSays Anna: “All writers know how difficult it is to get published. For many years\, we’ve all been working away\, mostly on our own\, so being part of a writer’s group has been an enormous source not just of support\, but of sharing of information. \nYaara is delighted the group have found success\, and says writers should never give up. “Who would have thought that all three of us would publish books in the same year\, after so many years of hard work not to mention disappointments!” \nFurther info on the authors and books \nYaara Lahav Gregory’s novel Night Swimming in the Jordan (Cinnamon Press) explores the political landscape of 1970s Israel through the story of a young girl in a kibbutz community.  Many years later her daughter is living in Devon and trying to make sense of absences in her family’s history.  Both a coming of age novel and an exploration of clashing ideologies Night Swimming in the Jordan is a portrayal of a country in conflict seen through a young girl’s eyes. \n In Anna Lunk’s Amie’s Rest  (Buzzard Press) Amie\, a young woman suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder is sheltering in a derelict cottage in woodland above a Scottish loch.  She has run out of money and is distrustful of the outside world\, but is none the less determined to live life on her own terms.  The novel follows Amie’s first few weeks as she struggles to survive against the odds;\, lonely\, but deeply connected to the natural world. The reader is immersed in her west coast surroundings\, walking in her footsteps. \nSophie Pierce’s The Green Hill\, letters to a son (Unbound) was inspired by the sudden death of her son Felix\, a young man with his life before him.  The book is a celebration of the restorative power of nature and is deeply rooted in the landscapes of South Devon. It explores how beauty\, a sense of place and the passing seasons can help us contend with our own mortality.  Sophie’s previous books\, co-written with Matt Newbury\, include Wild Swimming Torbay \, Wild Swimming Walks Cornwall\, Wild Swimming Walks Dorset and East Devon\, and  Wild Swimming Walks Dartmoor and South Devon.

They play a variety of music including Irish\, Scottish\, bluegrass and jazz\, all performed with a great sense of style\, verve and humour! \nThe sum of their talents\, combined with Tom’s rich singing\, is astounding and has left their audiences spellbound by their skill\, passion and rare sense of on-stage connection. Their sell-out concerts are highly entertaining\, so don’t miss your chance to see them here at Calstock. \n“One of the greatest violinists I’ve ever heard and by far the biggest influence in my music – A true master” – Seth Lakeman on Tom McConville \n“Two fantastic musicians and singers\, the best night we have had in a long time!” – Richmond Theatre Royal \n“The very best in our concert series” – Theatre by the Lake\, Keswick \n“Absolutely stunning playing and singing” – Helmseley Arts Centre \nAbout Tom McConville \nTom was born on Tyneside and brought up in a pub on the famous Scotswood Road with clientele drawn from the Irish and Scottish communities. This is where he first experienced traditional singing and fiddle music; the Hornpipes of James Hill amongst his first influences. 50 years on\, Tom McConville is widely acknowledged as THE authority on the music of James Hill and produced the first CD devoted entirely to Hill’s compositions. \nTom’s musical journey started in the North East folk clubs in the early 70s. Newcastle’s thriving Irish scene provided the opportunity\, with his first band\, to support Sean McGuire\, John Doonan\, The Fureys\, Boys of the Lough and even a lock-in with The Dubliners. Tom still credits the legendary Sean McGuire\, the fiddle genius from Belfast\, for teaching him his bowing techniques. \nTurning professional in 1974\, he joined Bob Fox in a duo then folk/rock band Magna Carta to play all over Europe. A memorable partnership with Kieron Halpin produced two award winning albums and top billing at The Cambridge Folk Festival. His next group Dab Hand made several visits to the USA where Tom met with another of his hero fiddlers\, Byron Berline. After a spell with Syncopace and a partnership with guitarist Chris Newman\, Tom spent the next 11 years recording & touring with Northumbrian piper Pauline Cato. \nEvery new venture brought great success and immense respect from his peers and public alike. Throughout his many collaborations he has continued his solo show at venues large and small. “A sandpaper-dry wit\, eye-watering skill on the fiddle\, great vocals… you just can’t help feeling that a performance by Tom is like visiting an old friend”  is how one folk club organiser describes him. \n2006 saw Tom working with Scots instrumentalist of the year\, Aaron Jones and All-Ireland Champion flute\, fiddle and whistle ace Claire Mann. Along with Kieran Boyle\, Peter Tickell\, Dave Wood & Kevin McGuire\, Tom completed a stunning solo CD\, Tommy on the Bridge. Musically brilliant\, it attracted great critical acclaim. Two more solo albums followed: Tommy on Song and Tommy on the Road. Tours with these albums played a major part in Tom being voted Musician of the Year at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. \nRecently Tom has travelled extensively as a duo with David Newey and with three and four piece line ups featuring David\, Shona Kipling\, Phil Murray and Andy Watt. Renowned for his musical accompaniments\, Tom has also played on hundreds of albums\, working with the likes of Barbara Dickson\, Richard Thompson\, Allan Taylor and Lindisfarne. Whilst he has shared stages throughout the world with Stephan Grappelli\, Sean McGuire\, Mark O’Connor\, Paul Brady and The Chieftains\, Tom has never forgotten his roots and is as happy in the intimate atmosphere of a small folk club as he is at the largest festivals. Tom McConville is a world-class act! \nAbout Michael Biggins \nMichael is a multi-instrumentalist originally from Newcastle upon Tyne but now residing in Glasgow. He currently plays and tours with TRIP\, The Canny Band\, Tom McConville\, Northern Company and Irish Celtic – Spirit of Ireland Dance Show. \nMichael became BBC Radio Scotland’s Young Traditional Musician of the Year for 2021. \nMichael  graduated from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow under the tutelage of Professor Sinae Lee on piano. Prior to this\, he studied at Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester where he studied with Graham Caskie. Michael also studied with respected pianists Eileen Bown and Jean Armstrong\, who are based in Newcastle \nAs well as performing\, Michael also teaches piano\, piano accordion and music theory and has done for several years. \nListen to them here \n

This exhibition features the participants’ photographs\, taken throughout the project\, and an accompanying collection of photobooks.  \nWild About Calstock engaged school children at Calstock and Stoke Climsland Primary Schools and Sensory Trust’s dementia-friendly Walk & Laugh Group. Across three guided nature walks\, participants have observed\, documented and shared knowledge whilst also taking part in workshops with local experts (such as foraging with Incredible Edible). With a focus on the winter wetlands\, wildlife and woodlands\, Wild About Calstock connected people across the generations and nurtured a deeper appreciation for their local environment and wildlife. The project also aimed to raise awareness of the Parish Council’s Climate Change Action Plan and the environmental challenges and opportunities that they are currently seeking to address. \nWild About Calstock was commissioned by Calstock Parish Council’s Working Group for Nature Recovery as part of their Environment and Climate emergency Strategic Plan. The project was supported by FEAST\, Arts Council England\, Cornwall Council\, Calstock Parish Council\, Sensory Trust\, The Box and the Tamara Landscape Partnership (a delivery branch of The Tamar Valley National landscape – formerly AONB). \nTo find out more about The Photobook Project\, visit: https://the-photobook-project.com/ \n

SUMMARY:Rescheduled 10 February: Peter Knight & John Spiers
DESCRIPTION:Rescheduled after a covid postponement in 2022\, Calstock Arts are pleased that Peter & John will be back at the Old Chapel in February 2024. \n“There can be no doubt that both performers are amongst the most\, if not the most\, talented of their peers. I was probably not the only person to leave the venue in awe at having witnessed something very special” Fatea Magazine \n“Peter Knight and John Spiers are a very special duo. They are both master musicians\, each with a long and distinguished history\, but there’s a special chemistry when they get together. Ancient tunes are transformed by their ability to improvise and constantly surprise\, and no two performances are ever the same”  Robin Denselow \nOn a summer’s day in 2016\, the organisers of FolkEast Festival masterminded one of the most intriguing and exciting collaborations on today’s folk scene. Peter Knight\, legendary violinist and ex-member of folk-rock band Steeleye Span was paired with leading melodeon player and ex-Bellowhead member\, John Spiers\, for a special one-off performance which left audiences in awe. With no space to be found in the marquee\, people stood five deep in the pouring rain in order to witness the bringing together of two of the most genuinely gifted musicians in their respective fields. \nWith a standing ovation and roars for more\, and much to the delight of folk fans everywhere\, Knight and Spiers decided not to leave things there. \nThe pairing of violin and melodeon is not a new one\, but in the hands of Knight and Spiers\, Improvisation and invention meet the listener at every turn. Together they have created a musical document that resonates with history\, but also something that should inspire future generations of musicians to engage with Britain’s folk dancing heritage\, and the beautiful\, mysterious tunes that can be found within that heritage. \nThese uniquely gifted musicians make a sublime pairing\, and create a live performance to be remembered for a long time. \nThis tour heralds the launch of their long awaited second studio album\, Both in a Tune. \n

SUMMARY:3 February: My Darling Clementine (see competition below)
DESCRIPTION:A labour of love on multiple levels\, My Darling Clementine – the sobriquet of spouses Michael Weston King and Lou Dalgleish – began as a homage to classic country duets of the 60’s and 70’s á la George & Tammy and Johnny & June. Their latest album is called “Country Darkness” – a collaboration with keyboard genius Steve Nieve (The Attractions / The Imposters)\, which sees them reinterpreting the country songs of Elvis Costello.  \nReleased in November 2020 it charted in both the UK and European Americana charts receiving unanimous praise along the way \nDuring the past 9 years they have played over 800 shows around the world\,  won numerous awards and have more than earned their own bona fides\, with their wry yet heart-on-sleeve song-craft spotlighting the vagaries of romance and the human condition\,  and their match-made-in-heaven harmonies \n “King and Dalgleish have earned their place in the role call of great country duettists” – UNCUT \n “MDC mix country gloom with excellent musicianship and very fine songs.” The Guardian \n “King and Dalgleish have re-invented the country duet” – The mingling of these two voices is just heavenly”  Mojo \n “One of the most exquisitely pained country albums of the year comes from England” New York Daily News \nTheir career started with the 2011 debut “How Do You Plead?”\, produced by Neil Brockbank (Nick Lowe)and featuring some of London’s finest musicians from the 70’s pub rock era. \nReleased in 2011\, it was immediately acclaimed on both sides of the Atlantic. Country Music People called it; “The greatest British country record ever made” \nSuch praise led to a US record deal and invitations to appear at the Americana Music Association in Nashville and SXSW in Austin in 2013 \nThe follow-up\, “The Reconciliation\,” produced by Colin Elliot (Richard Hawley) and featuring guest appearances from Kinky Freidman and The Brodsky Quartet only enhanced the bands growing reputation and received a similar critical response with the New York Daily News choosing it as ‘album of the month’ while Popmatters put it in their Top 10 Country Albums of 2013. \nTheir next move was a slight departure as they the collaborated with best selling crime writer\, and avowed country music fan\, Mark Billingham on the story and song project The Other Half. \nBillingham wrote a dark\, nourish tale of murder\, lust and revenge around eight of King & Dalgleish songs. The Other Half became an album\, an audio book\, and a stage show and featured contributions from actor David Morrisey and singer songwriter Graham Parker \nAfter 18 months of touring The Other Half\, including a run at The Edinburgh Festival  Michael and Lou returned to the studio for album no. 4. \nRe-uniting with producer Neil Brockbank\,  Still Testifying was released in the summer 2017. Stylistically\, it was a further shifting away from classic country to embrace gospel and country soul and was widely acclaimed with many writers praising the new direction; \n“Where gospel\, country and Southern soul happily collide. It’s terrific.” UnCut\,   ‘this more Delaney & Bonnie than George & Tammy’ Record Collector     \nListen to them here: https://youtu.be/yFP6X5FKUw4?si=UdGxqSnPBK49MAO1 \nCOMPETITION – all advance ticket holders included in a draw to win one of two copies of the ‘How Do You Plead?’ album. SUMMARY:26 January: Gallery Bar Special with The Blues Dukes
DESCRIPTION:Calstock Arts are delighted to welcome back the Blue Dukes. The four veterans of the SW Music scene are back in their 4-piece band playing Blues and Roots music. \nThe band consists of – \nJeff “the Horse” Horsey      Harmonica\,Guitar and Vocals \nGareth Hedges                     Guitar and Vocals \nGeorge Nixs                          Lead Guitar and Vocals \nColin Boyd                            Bass Guitar and Vocals. \nGareth Hedges has played and recorded in the UK\, America\, Europe and even Australia. He is a wonderful guitar picker and has a lived in\, authentic vocal style\, having learnt first-hand from artists like Bill Munroe\, Doc Watson and Peter Rowan\, all of whom he has spent time with. \nGeorge Nixs is a flamboyant\, virtuoso lead guitar player and his playing lights up a lot of the material the band do. He used to do session work at Abbey Road Studios and counted Peter Green\, Eric Clapton and the Hollies among his musical friends. He played with future AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson\, in a band called Geordie in the 1970s. \nColin Boyd is well known locally as one of the best Bass players around and has a distinctive style all his own. In the past he has famously worked with the Kinks and Lou Reed! \nJeff Horsey played in Exeter based band Junkyard Angels and toured widely\, backing Louisiana Legend Tabby Thomas and playing alongside artists as diverse as Geno Washington\, Peter Green and even Screaming Lord Sutch. He gets to concentrate on his singing and Harmonica playing but also plays some Slide Guitar. \nTogether they perform funky versions of well-known blues covers\, lesser known songs you wished you had heard before and a few original numbers\, all blending into an exciting\, highly listenable gumbo with lots of harmony singing giving them a special edge. The music sweeps from almost Bluegrass acoustic numbers to full on Chicago style Blues\, touching base with Rock n’ Roll and even Skiffle on the way! \nLoud enough to dance to and quiet enough to listen! \n  \nListen to them here:https://youtu.be/W0Hayf5CZXc

They play a wide range of Jazz standards and lively Latin rhythms\, adding some of their own compositions into the mix – all guaranteed to put a smile on your face and get those toes tapping! They have performed at numerous venues throughout south east Cornwall\, including more recently the Old Library at Bodmin\, Polperro music festival and Looe Weekender festival\, gaining a loyal following as they go. \nBoth Helen and Judy are classically trained musicians and were Heads of Music at Looe Academy and Liskeard Community College respectively\, inspiring numerous generations of students to play music.  Having not seen each other for a while\, they met a few years ago when they had both decided to leave teaching and become freelance musicians. A chance meeting at a jazz gig ended up with them on stage together\, and an idea was born! \nAs well as playing double bass\, piano and flute\, Judy has built a reputation as a composer in a wide range of genres. Her orchestral piece ‘Eclipse’\, commissioned by the Plymouth Symphony Orchestra for the 1999 Total Eclipse\, will be performed again by the PSO at the Tavistock Festival in April. \nDuring the pandemic\,  Helen decided to pursue a long held dream of unravelling the mysteries of jazz. Making the most of lockdown\, she studied with Nora Germain (jazz violin) from Los Angeles\, Helen Porter (vocals) from Calstock\, Trudy Kerr (vocals) from London and Anita Wardell (vocals) from Perth\, Australia. As well as Jazz Shed\, she leads the Helen White Quartet. She is also a composer\, and is currently working on her first jazz album\, due to be recorded in early 2024. \nJethro just happens to live 3 doors down from Helen and made a similar decision as an already accomplished guitarist and bass player to follow the jazz trail! After impressing the ladies with his astonishing guitar playing he was invited to join the quartet. \nBunny\, the rhythm man of the quartet\, is well known in these parts as an experienced drummer and percussionist\, playing in various ensembles in and around Cornwall \n  \nJethro Pooley – Guitar \nBunny Warren- Cajon/Percussion \nJudy Whitlock – Vocals/Double Bass \nHelen White – Vocals/Soprano Saxophone/Violin

SUMMARY:16 December: The Wilderness Yet - The Festive / Mid Winter Tour!
DESCRIPTION:Nationally acclaimed folk trio The Wilderness Yet have established a growing reputation for their detailed arrangements and flawless close–knit harmony singing. They are bringing their Festive / Mid Winter tour to the Old Chapel to cheer up our winter blues. \nThe trio combines the clear\, charismatic vocals of former BBC Young Folk Award finalist Rosie Hodgson with the fine\, sensitive fiddling of Rowan Piggott and the deft guitar and flute playing of Philippe Barnes. Independently\, they have earned audiences’ esteem as consummate musicians; together\, they weave an eclectic tapestry of traditional and original songs and tunes\, from a cappella three–part harmonies to luscious instrumentalarrangements. \nThe band’s eponymous debut album was released in 2020 to critical acclaim\, and was closely followed by John O Dreams\, an EP of commissioned covers.
