Tuesday 8 July:
The Dante Quartet presents Dante Trios

Calstock Arts is delighted to once again welcome the Dante Quartet to The Old Chapel as part of their annual Summer Festival in the Tamar Valley.

This year’s programme consists of a Festival Walk Along the Tamar, the return of the popular Buffet Supper courtesy of Food Dreckly, followed by the quartet themselves performing in our spectacular venue, a magical and intimate setting for chamber music.

The Dante Quartet will explore repertoire for various string trio combinations from Beethoven to Borodin, including a rarely played gem by the great Belgian violinist Eugene Ysaye.

Beethoven: Serenade in D Major, opus 8.
Borodin: Trio on a Russian Folk Theme.
Dvorak: Four Romantic Pieces.
Mozart/Bach: Prelude and Fugue.
Ysaye: Trio ‘Le Londres’.

Tickets available direct from Dante here and on 07583 050581.
