Sunday 28 May:
Simone Sorini and Claudia Viviani – Medieval and Renaissance Music

A versatile interpreter of lute repertoires from the Middle Ages to the early Renaissance, Simone Sorini revives the ancient profession of the “Cantore al liuto”, typical of Italian musicians and composers from the late 1400s.

Simone is a highly accomplished lutenist and singer of Mediaeval and renaissance music, appearing at Early Music festivals throughout the world. For this exclusive tour of the West Country, he is joined by Claudia Viviani, a multi-talented singer and percussionist who adds depth, rhythm and variation to their performance.
