Saturday 6 July:
Ethan Johns plus The Ralfe Band

Brit Award 2012 winner Ethan Johns is the producer of choice for everyone from Laura Marling to The Kings of Leon and Ryan Adams. Now the multi-instrumentalist has moved from behind the desk to return to live performing. The release of his debut album If Not Now Then When? in February 2013 was met with great critical acclaim, the NME describing it as ‘1970s-style Brit-folk that treads the same eerie, evocative path as Nick Drake and Fairport Convention’.

Although primarily known as a record producer, mixer and engineer, Johns has also toured with Emmylou Harris, Ryan Adams, Ray LaMontagne and Tom Jones, amongst others. This is his first tour of the south west, so catch him whilst you can.

Plus support from The Ralfe Band, as featured on Marc Riley’s BBC6 Music show, as well as the Mark Radcliffe and Bob Harris shows on BBC Radio 2.
