Friday 18 October
Gallery Bar Special with the Eliza Acty Duo

With her unique vocal style, Eliza performs a range of Folk, Americana and old-time music.

As previously seen at Calstock Arts as part of old-time band Appaloosas, Eliza now sings and plays guitar alongside her father Pete Acty, accomplished clawhammer style banjo player and a classic, percussive finger-pick guitarist. A long musical career has seen Pete working with many notable musicians.

The duo has a strong, dynamic acoustic sound tied together with traditional banjo songs and tunes, with Eliza’s original songs inspired by artists such as Bob Dylan and Gillian Welch, whilst also taking inspiration from her home on Dartmoor.

“Really beautiful dreamy vocals” – Kate Graham, BBC Introducing Devon.
